Derek Jennings

Dr. Derek Jennings is a general dentist and proud native of Northern Utah. He studied at Weber State University and completed his dental training at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada. Dr. Jennings brings a thoughtful, continually evolving approach to dentistry, grounded in evidence-based care and a genuine commitment to his patients.

He believes the best care happens through partnership. By using detailed photographs, clear explanations, and step-by-step guidance, Dr. Jennings helps patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment. He takes time to understand each person’s unique needs and values, creating a respectful, judgment-free space for care.

Known for his calm and approachable manner, Dr. Jennings especially enjoys helping children feel at ease in the dental chair. As a devoted husband and father, he holds himself to the standard of care he’d want for his own family—centered on trust, transparency, and long-term health. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and picking up new hobbies—like juggling—just for fun.
